JACOS' Hangingstone Expansion Project application has been deemed Administratively Complete. Joint Public Notices will be posted on June 29, 2010 in several newspaper publications in Ft. McMurray, Edmonton, Calgary and Lac LaBiche. A copy of the application and EIA is available on our website.

Job Creation

JACOS' production operations offer varied employment and apprenticeship opportunities within commuting distance of Fort McMurray and Anzac.

JACOS employs approximately 45 staff including power engineers, tradesmen, management and maintenance personnel at the Hangingstone plant. The company also has 30 staff members at the Calgary corporate office.

JACOS utilizes the REDLINK (Regional Economic Development) to allow local and local aboriginal businesses the opportunity to participate competitively in business opportunities.
